Tessa’s experience spans research management, higher education teaching, professional writing and academic research including her interdisciplinary research in consciousness studies. She currently manages the research development and graduate programs teams of the Monash Institute of Cognitive and Clinical Neurosciences. She conducts research development across all phases of the process, from understanding the sector and societal needs to project ideation, proposal development, university approvals, post-award management and research communication and translation. She was awarded a prestigious 2017 Endevour Executive Fellowship from the Australian Department of Education and Training to pursue professional development in internationalising research management and best practice in research development, knowledge transfer and business development.
