Sukanya has been working with UKRI India (formerly RCUK India) since their launch in India in 2008. She works closely with Indian funding partners to develop and deliver multi-million-pound UK-India research collaborations across the remit of UKRI’s funding councils. Her current portfolio includes health, agriculture, food security, and civil nuclear energy. Prior to joining RCUK India, Sukanya worked with the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission, New Delhi and has also, previously, worked with The Times of India.
