Pauline has been part of the research management community in the UK for 25 years, working in a range of roles and institutions throughout that time. She served on the ARMA Board for 16 years and has always been a strong advocate of training and development in our profession. She was presented with the Carter award in 2015 in recognition of her contribution to the profession. Pauline is an assessor for the ARMA qualifications, a member of the Advocacy Group and has a particular interest in developing our profession in sub-Saharan Africa.
Pauline’s current role of Director of Research Services at the University of Leicester covers a broad range of activities including research strategy and policy, pre and post award, research governance, contracts, Doctoral College and research development. Managing a range of teams and around 60 staff, Pauline likes to be involved in a broad and varied range of activities.
