Stephen is a funding and impact consultant working with universities and individual academics. Previously he has worked as a chemistry researcher, a Research Councils portfolio manager (managing the funding process), a university funding manager (helping academic staff navigate the funding process) and a university impact manager (nurturing impact culture and supporting REF2021 impact preparations). Funding and impact are core themes running through his work. Stephen’s mission is to help academics change the world through their research.
