Dr Mirjam Siesling (1977) holds a PhD in criminal law and criminology and currently works as a senior grants officer at Tilburg University (The Netherlands). Ever since her transfer from academic staff to support staff (2013), she has had an interest in the concept of the Blended Professional in academia. This interest has led to the establishment of an on campus informal network of PhD holders in support staff. Since 2015, she collaborates with Aygen Kurt-Dickson and Susi Poli, leading to joint presentations on the topic for EARMA and SRHE and the launch of a European-wide BP Community of Practice.
