Dr. Ipshita Ghose has recently been appointed to the role of Research Support Partner in the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham, UK. She is passionate about supporting and enabling research and has worked in a variety of research development roles at the Universities of Southampton, Sheffield and Birmingham since 2011. An effective communicator with excellent negotiating skills, she enjoys supporting international, collaborative proposals and projects involving researchers across disciplines and sectors. She is particularly interested in projects that explore cities, their inhabitants and infrastructures, having completed a PhD in postcolonial cities and literature in 2010.
