Research Contracts Special Interest Group (SIG) – The Gathering

Sapna Marwaha - Head of Research Contracts, Financial & Business Services, University of Nottingham

The Research Contracts Special Interest Group represents colleagues within the research management community with a remit for, or interest in, research contracts.  The SIG convenes annually at the ARMA conference and this year at the global INORMS conference to give members an opportunity to network, discuss current issues and share best practice.  This year’s SIG meeting will include a brief introduction and update on SIG activities.  Members will then choose between various “discussion stations” covering key topics of interest.  These may change subject to member feedback but will likely include “GCRF – Preparing for due diligence and contract negotiations in global challenges”, “GDPR – It’s arrived but have we caught up?” and “Working smarter – the resources we need to succeed”.  We extend a warm welcome to our international colleagues who are invited to join us so that we may strengthen international links and share cross-border learning and experience.
