Impact is an agenda, which is increasingly being included in research evaluation exercises across the world. Attendance at this workshop will be relevant to international members, especially those who wish to explore the task of developing an approach to reviewing current impact within their institution in preparation for formal assessments. Attendees will benefit from first-hand knowledge of a potential methodology they could tailor to assess or benchmark impact within their own institution.
n this fast paced Petcha Kutch we will present the approach that Northumbria took to undertake a whole institution internal review of potential REF impact case studies.
Sharing the thinking behind our approach we will provide an opportunity for other impact managers and officers to share learning points from their own internal reviews or to provide views on the pros and cons of Northumbria’s approach.
