When it became effective in December 2014, the U.S. Uniform Guidance’s objectives were to streamline award guidance to ease administrative burden and to strengthen oversight to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse. This workshop will look beyond the goals and policies of the Uniform Guidance to examine where we are today in terms of streamlining international collaborations. Have the administrative burdens been reduced or has the focus on strengthening oversight increased barriers to collaborations? The session will include perspectives on both sides from institutions who have received and issued U.S. awards. Join the candid conversation to share your perspectives and experiences.
